A section of the B1183 Horncastle Road has been closed by police this afternoon following a road traffic collision.
Lincolnshire Police have shut the road between Norfolk Street and Red Cap Lane while emergency services deal with the incident.
The East Midlands Ambulance Service is also in attendance at the scene. Recovery specialists Wakefield Autos and Starky’s Recovery have been called to assist with vehicle recovery and clearing the carriageway.
Motorists are being advised to avoid the area where possible and seek alternative routes, as the closure is likely to cause disruption on one of the town’s main routes.
At this stage, no further details about injuries or the circumstances of the collision have been released.
