The Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance was called into action this morning after landing in grassland between Franklin Close and Shaw Road to attend a medical emergency at a residential bungalow.
The air ambulance touched down in a nearby open area while paramedics made their way to the property to assist a patient who required urgent medical care.
East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) also responded to the incident, deploying two crewed ambulances to the scene to support the operation.
Both East Midlands Ambulance Service and the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance have been contacted for a statement.
Residents in the area reported seeing the helicopter land in the grassland, drawing attention from nearby homes as emergency crews worked at the scene.
