Police have confirmed that a man has been arrested after officers discovered a cannabis grow during a warrant executed at a property in Wyberton this morning.
Lincolnshire Police say the operation, recorded as incident 81 of today, took place at around 9:20am at an address on Saundergate Lane.
Upon entering the property, officers uncovered a cannabis grow inside. The number of plants or the scale of the setup has not yet been disclosed, but police have confirmed that one man was arrested at the scene in connection with the discovery.
A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: “We executed a warrant at an address on Saundergate Lane, in Wyberton, at around 9:20am this morning, where a cannabis grow was found. A man has been arrested in connection with the incident. Investigations are ongoing.”
Officers remained at the property throughout the morning as evidence was gathered and the premises made safe.
The investigation is continuing, and police are urging anyone with information that could assist their enquiries to come forward by calling 101, quoting incident 81 of today.
