Crews from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue have been seen this afternoon around the Maud Foster Drain following a request to support East Midlands Ambulance Service with a medical emergency.
An Aerial Ladder Platform and appliance, both from Boston Fire Station were sent to an address on the corner of Horncastle Road this afternoon to support the ambulance service with the safe extraction of a patient from a property.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said: “Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue were requested to attend Wide Bargate, Boston, to aid the extrication of a patient from a first floor flat. Due to the difficulty of extrication an ariel ladder platform was requested to assist.”
