After more than two decades working at Fonz’s Barbers, respected local barber Peter Norton is excited to announce the opening of his own salon, Pit Stop Barbers, in January 2025. Located in the former Interflora Flower Shop at 98 Wide Bargate, Boston, PE21 6SE, the new venture represents the culmination of Peter’s lifelong ambition to open his own business.

The salon has been designed with customer convenience in mind, with a free 2-hour car park located directly in front of the premises, making it easily accessible for all. In addition, Peter is working on an innovative feature, a sensory corner, which will include a chair aimed at children and adults with learning difficulties or those who feel uneasy about getting their hair cut. This unique addition is still a work in progress but reflects Peter’s commitment to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone.

Reflecting on his new venture, Peter said: “This has been a dream of mine for many years, and I’m incredibly grateful for the support of my family, friends, and loyal clients who have helped make this possible. I’ve loved my time at Fonz’s, but I’m looking forward to welcoming everyone to Pit Stop Barbers. My goal is to create a space where every client feels comfortable and leaves feeling their best.”

Peter’s years of experience and dedication to his craft have earned him a loyal following, and he’s eager to continue providing the high-quality service his clients have come to expect. Pit Stop Barbers will offer a blend of traditional barbering techniques and modern amenities, ensuring a friendly and professional experience for all customers.
