The legendary Gliderdrome in Boston, a venue steeped in musical history, played host to a spectacular evening as Scouting For Girls headlined an unforgettable concert attended by 1,400 fans. The event marked a significant milestone, as it took place exactly 17 years to the day since the release of their iconic debut album, Scouting For Girls.

Joining the chart-topping band were two exceptional support acts: The Voice UK finalist Vince Freeman and BRIT Award-winning singer-songwriter Jamie Lawson. Together, they delivered a night of live music that celebrated nostalgia, talent, and the enduring power of great songs.

The Gliderdrome, famous for its rich legacy of hosting legendary acts like Tina Turner, T-Rex, Elton John, and The Who, was once again alive with energy as the crowd sang along to Scouting For Girls’ biggest hits, including She’s So Lovely, Heartbeat, and Elvis Ain’t Dead.

Speaking about the milestone performance, frontman Roy Stride said: “We couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate 17 years of our debut album than here at the iconic Gliderdrome. It’s an honour to play on the same stage as so many legends who came before us. Boston, you were amazing!”

Andrew Malkinson, owner of The Gliderdrome said: “It really was an amazing event. Having a crowd of 1400 people in our Starlight Room was fantastic to see. The Scouting for Girls Band and Team were an absolute pleasure to work with and hope to collaborate again in the future. Many thanks to all who attended and we hope to see the support continue.”

The evening kicked off with Vince Freeman’s soulful performance, followed by Jamie Lawson, who wowed the audience with his heartfelt storytelling and timeless hit Wasn’t Expecting That. By the time Scouting For Girls took to the stage, the atmosphere was electric, with fans of all ages celebrating the band’s enduring charm and infectious energy.

The Gliderdrome continues to cement its place as one of the UK’s most unique and beloved live music venues, bridging generations of music fans and artists alike.
