An application has been submitted to Boston Borough Council for the demolition of a former Boston restaurant and construction  of two-storey building, and associated works, including provision of car parking, outdoor recreation areas, landscaping and boundary treatments to create proposed new specialist school.

Alder King Planning Consultants has submitted an application to the authority on behalf of Aspris Children’s Services for the above works at the former Merrimans Restaurant on Great Fen Road, Boston.

The new school building will form part of the long-established Bridge House School in Boston, which includes an adjoining site.

The application will include parking for 22 vehicles, 6 cycle spaces, 2 accessible parking spaces and 2 EV charging points.

If approved, the new school will offer 18 additional full-time employment opportunities.
