A Boston accommodation provider is set to be showcased to viewers across the country this week as Escape Town appears on Channel 4’s popular daytime programme Four in a Bed.
Escape Town, which offers modern self-catering apartments in the heart of Boston town centre, will feature as one of four accommodation providers competing during the week.
The popular Channel 4 programme sees accommodation owners take turns staying at each other’s properties, experiencing what they have to offer before providing feedback and deciding how much they believe their stay was worth.
This week will see the owners of The Nelthorpe Arms, Maes Y Neuadd in Gwynedd, 3Trees Glamping and Boston’s Escape Town visit each other’s properties over the course of the competition.
For Escape Town, the appearance provides an opportunity to showcase its accommodation to a national audience while also putting Boston itself in the television spotlight.
Situated in the heart of the town centre, Escape Town has been designed to offer guests a combination of contemporary accommodation, privacy and tranquillity despite its central location.
Its apartments feature bright and spacious interiors, king-size or double beds with en-suite bathrooms, living areas with Smart TVs and modern breakfast bars which can double as workspaces.
The bathrooms also feature spacious showers, illuminated mirrors and bidet toilets, with the accommodation designed to provide a modern alternative for people staying in Boston.
Owner of Escape Town, Violet Kumar, said: “Taking part in Four in a Bed was an absolutely incredible experience and something I never imagined we would have the opportunity to do.
“I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve created at Escape Town, so to be able to showcase our apartments on national television – and, importantly, put Boston in front of a national audience – is really exciting.
“The whole experience was great fun. We met some fantastic people, visited some beautiful places and, of course, there were a few surprises along the way!
“I can’t say too much about what happens, so people will have to tune in and watch, but I’m really looking forward to finally being able to share the experience with everyone back home in Boston.”
It won’t be the first time Four in a Bed has paid a visit to Boston.
Back in 2018, the Channel 4 programme visited the town’s Quayside Hotel, with the Boston venue going on to win its week of the competition.
Eight years later, all eyes will now be on Escape Town as another Boston accommodation provider puts itself, and the town, in front of a national television audience.
Four in a Bed has become a long-running fixture of Channel 4’s daytime schedule, with each week culminating in the well-known Payment Day, when participants discover how much their fellow accommodation owners have chosen to pay and have the opportunity to discuss their feedback face-to-face.
Escape Town’s appearance will give viewers across the UK a glimpse inside one of Boston’s town centre accommodation businesses as Violet and the team put their hospitality to the test.
Escape Town’s episode of Four in a Bed is set to air on Channel 4 this week.
