Motorists are being urged to avoid the A16 at Wyberton after a five-vehicle collision has forced the road to close this evening.
The incident happened on the A16 near the junction with Saundergate Lane. Emergency services are currently at the scene, with the road remaining closed while the collision is dealt with.
Lincolnshire Police have confirmed the collision involved five vehicles. Fortunately, it is believed that no serious injuries have been reported.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes while the incident is ongoing. Delays are expected on surrounding roads.
Lincolnshire Police said: “The A16 at Wyberton near to the junction with Saundergate Lane has been closed following a collision involving five vehicles. We believe no serious injuries are reported. Please avoid the area for the time being.”
The incident has been logged by Lincolnshire Police as Incident 405 of 17 July.
