The search is officially on for the next Miss England, as applications for the 2026 semi-finals have now opened, giving hopefuls from across the country, including Boston, the chance to compete on one of the nation’s biggest stages.
The competition remains the only contest in England to send its winner to the prestigious Miss World Beauty with a Purpose final, with organisers once again searching for inspiring young women to represent their communities on a national platform.
The highly anticipated Miss England Semi Finals will take place at the Melton Theatre in October 2026, where contestants will compete for a place in the national finals.
For Boston, the announcement could pave the way for a new local representative to step into the spotlight, with the last entrant from the town being Mia Rothwell, who competed in 2023.
Organisers say the competition focuses on far more than appearance, with entrants taking part in fundraising, public speaking, fitness and community initiatives throughout their Miss England journey.
Angie Beasley, Director of Miss England Limited, said: “Every year we discover incredible young women who are passionate about making a difference, building confidence and inspiring others. Miss England is about empowering contestants and giving them opportunities that can genuinely change their lives. We are excited to officially open applications for the 2026 semi-finals and cannot wait to meet the next generation of inspiring young women from across England.”
Current titleholder Grace Richardson, who was crowned Miss England in November 2025, also encouraged entrants to put themselves forward.
She said: “Winning Miss England has been an unforgettable experience and has opened so many doors for me. The competition is about so much more than appearance, it’s about confidence, charity work, friendships and representing something powerful. I would encourage anybody thinking about entering to absolutely go for it. It could genuinely change your life.”
The Miss England competition has become one of the UK’s most recognised pageants, known for its strong emphasis on charity work and its internationally recognised “Beauty with a Purpose” ethos.
