Tonic Health is proud to announce the appointment of respected local businessman and community figure Barrie Pierpoint as its new Chair of Trustees, marking a significant milestone in the charity’s development as it prepares for its next phase of growth and impact.
Barrie brings a wealth of business acumen, strategic leadership, and deep-rooted community experience to the organisation. His appointment will strengthen governance and provide vital support to Founder and CEO Michael Morris and the Board of Trustees as Tonic Health continues to expand its reach and services across South Holland and Boston.
As the charity approaches its 10th anniversary in 2026, the appointment signals a clear commitment to long-term sustainability, service development, and community impact.
Michael Morris, Founder and CEO of Tonic Health, said: “Barrie’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for Tonic Health. His experience, credibility, and understanding of both business and community infrastructure will be invaluable as we move into our next phase of growth. We are delighted to welcome him as Chair and look forward to working together to strengthen our impact across the region.”
Barrie Pierpoint said: “I am honoured to take on the role of Chair of Trustees at Tonic Health. The organisation plays a critical role in supporting some of the most vulnerable people in our communities, and I am excited to work alongside Michael and the Board to help shape its future, particularly as it moves towards its 10-year anniversary.”
With a strong foundation already in place and increasing demand for community-based support services, Tonic Health is entering a new chapter of development — one focused on sustainability, partnership, and long-term community resilience.
