A new chapter is set to begin for Boston’s town centre as the Boston Town Centre Business Association officially launches next month, bringing together local traders under a single, independent and business-led voice.

Over the past year, businesses across the town centre have taken part in surveys, interviews and open discussions about the future of the high street, the challenges they face, and the need for stronger collaboration and representation. That extensive engagement has now led to the formation of the Boston Town Centre Business Association (BTCBA), created to represent, support and champion the interests of town centre businesses.

Founding association members include Pescod Square, Wilcox and Carter, Cammacks, Tip Tan Toe, R&M Salon, Phoenix IT, Boston VIBE, Café Noglish, the Lincolnshire Federation of Small Businesses and Boston Borough Council, with the project supported by Urban Foresight.

A launch event has been arranged to formally introduce the association and its plans. It will take place on Thursday 12th February 2026 at the White Hart Hotel in Boston, running from 6pm to 9pm.

A spokesperson for the new association said: “We’ve set up a new, business-led Boston Town Centre Business Association following months of discussion and engagement with local businesses. The event on 12 February is about explaining why it exists, what it will do, and inviting businesses to help shape it from the start. If you care about the future of the town centre, it’s worth coming along.”

The evening will outline the vision for the association, its proposed priorities and projects, and how businesses can get involved in shaping its direction. It will also provide an opportunity for traders to network, share ideas and learn how a collective voice could help influence decision-making, investment and the future development of the town centre.

All local businesses are encouraged to attend and register their interest in the free-to-attend event to find out more about the new traders’ association and its plans for supporting Boston’s town centre in the months and years ahead.
