Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue were called to a car fire at South Street Car Park in Boston on Friday afternoon.
One fire crew attended the incident, which involved a white BMW estate that had caught alight. Photos from the scene show the vehicle with a badly damaged bonnet, with the front of the car appearing severely scorched.
Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control, preventing it from spreading to other vehicles in the area. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
At this stage, the cause of the fire remains unknown, and investigations are ongoing.
South Street Car Park remained open during the incident, although a section was temporarily cordoned off while emergency services dealt with the fire.
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue have been contacted for further comment.
