Boston Market Place was alive with action, cheering crowds and mouth-watering food yesterday as the annual Boston Strongest and Food Fest returned to town.

Thousands of spectators gathered in the heart of Boston to watch athletes from Mayhem Gym and other fitness centres tackle a series of gruelling strength challenges, from pulling a Turnbull’s HGV to lifting Atlas Stones.

The event, a proud partnership between Mayhem Gym and Boston Borough Council, brought together family entertainment, live music, and a wide range of food stalls.

Traders included Alvi’s, The Wood Shed Pizza, Lady Bex, Brocklesbys Pies, Rodwell Catering, The Grill, and Café Do Brasil, offering sweet and savoury treats throughout the day.

Boston Strongest has grown year on year, and we’re proud to bring this event back with the support of Boston Borough Council.

The athletes were absolutely outstanding across all categories, and it was great to see so many people turn out to cheer them on while enjoying some fantastic food and entertainment.

A huge thank you to all our sponsors, volunteers, traders, and the local community. We’ll be back in 2026, and we plan to make it even bigger and better.”
