A Lincolnshire rooted housing association has received a 12-month extension to their Investors in People silver accreditation.

This recognises the way we lead, support and improve our colleagues as an organisation and promote a positive culture in the workplace.

Amplius, formerly known as Longhurst Group until it merged with Grand Union Housing in 2024, is now one of the largest housing providers across the Midlands, East and Southeast of England, owning and managing more than 37,000 homes, and deliver a range of quality services, including care and support, specialist housing and home ownership options, operating in over 50 local authority areas, we have a team of more than 1,400 colleagues.

Lynn Stubbs, Chief People and Governance Officer, said: “We want to be an employer of choice and securing the Investors in People silver accreditation for another 12 months demonstrates our continued focus on creating a great place to work for all our colleagues.

“Since forming Amplius, we’ve been working really hard to bring our two legacy organisations together and through that change process, the focus on our people remains more important than ever.

“We know that the Amplius vision to ‘go further and do more’ relies on our people being passionate about doing a great job and being able to perform at their very best.

“Creating an environment where our colleagues can truly shine is one of our top priorities.

“By securing this accreditation it shows that we’re on the right track, but we know there’s still so much more we can do to ensure we’re leading, supporting and investing in our colleagues in the best possible way and we’re committed to doing that and making Amplius an even better place to work.”
