A water supply issue at a regional pumping station has disrupted supplies across the town.

Water supplies across the town centre and outlying villages, including Wyberton, Frampton, Kirton, Sutterton, Fosdyke, Swineshead and Bicker, plus further afield locations including Donington, Quadring and Gosberton, have been impacted following disruption at the main regional pumping facility in Sutterton.

Anglian Water advised that they can’t confirm a time that supplies will resume, but National Grid are also in attendance to reinstate power to the pumps.

A spokesperson for Anglian Water said: “A power outage has tripped our pumps at Sutterton causing water supply issues in the wider area. Our team are on site now and working to get them back up and running. We’ve also asked National Grid to come out to assist them as a priority.”
