A burst water main outside a Boston school is set to cause disruption to parents later today.
The water main burst on Peck Avenue overnight, and was reported to Anglian Water early Monday morning and has resulted in a closure for up to 3 days.
Water was visibly seen at speed pushing through the pavement, and has caused large puddles across the road.
Anglain Water confirmed that a water main had burst this morning, and they have engineers on scene to fix the issue, however some disruption to traffic and water may occur later today.
Staniland Primary Academy posted on social media recently: ‘We have been informed by Anglian Water that a portion of Peck Avenue leading to Woodville Road is closing due to a burst water pipe. The only way to access Peck Avenue will be via Broadfield Lane or Staniland Road. This will be closed for up to 3 days.
