The Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance has landed on a disused piece of grassland near Boston town centre to assist with a medical emergency.
The air ambulance, which landed on Lister Way, attended a medical emergency at neighbouring supermarket Asda, which also saw LIVES medical team and East Midlands Ambulance Service attend.
A spokesperson for East Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 12.35pm on 10 December to a commercial address in Boston. The caller reported a medical emergency. We sent two paramedics in solo response cars, a crewed ambulance and a LIVES emergency responder. The air ambulance was also in attendance. One patient has been taken to Lincoln County Hospital via crewed ambulance.”
