Boston United have clinched the loan signing of highly-rated England under-19 international striker Lennon Wheeldon.
The 18-year-old has joined the Pilgrims on loan from EFL Championship giants Derby County – until New Year’s Day initially.
Wheeldon, who was attracting serious interest from elsewhere in the National League, has put pen-to-paper to become Graham Coughlan’s first signing as United manager.
He will wear squad number 18 during his time at the Jakemans Community Stadium.
