Karen Jobling, LNAA CEO, was proud to chair the third annual AW169 User Group meeting, bringing together representatives from the six UK air ambulance charities operating the AW169 helicopter, alongside their aviation partners and manufacturer, Leonardo.

Held over two days in Eversley, the event provided a valuable opportunity for the air ambulance community to share experiences, discuss operational challenges and explore new ways to support lifesaving missions.

Attendees exchanged insights and lessons learned from real-world operations, reviewed evolving service models and considered how innovation and collaboration can continue to enhance patient care. While discussions covered aircraft operations and future developments, the shared focus remained clear: improving outcomes for the patients who rely on air ambulance services every day.

The AW169 User Group continues to play an important role in strengthening relationships across the sector, encouraging best practice and helping shape the future of air ambulance operations throughout the UK.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed their expertise, experience and passion to the event. By working together and sharing knowledge, the AW169 community is helping ensure that lifesaving services continue to evolve and deliver the highest standards of care.
