Motorists are being given advance warning that a Boston town centre car park will close for more than a week while essential resurfacing works are carried out.
Boston Borough Council has confirmed that Staniland Car Park, located on Fydell Crescent, will be completely closed from 6am on Monday 5 October until 6pm on Wednesday 14 October 2026.
The closure will affect all users of the car park while resurfacing and improvement works take place.
Anyone planning to visit the area during the closure is being encouraged to make alternative parking arrangements in advance and allow additional time for their journey.
In a statement, Boston Borough Council said: “We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience while these improvements are carried out.”
The car park is expected to reopen to motorists from 6pm on Wednesday 14 October, subject to the completion of the works.
