Motorists are being advised to avoid the Kirton End area this morning following a single-vehicle collision which has resulted in a road closure at the crossroads of the B1391 and Washdike Road.
The incident was reported at approximately 7.20am today (29 May), with emergency services attending the scene shortly afterwards.
Recovery work is now taking place to remove the vehicle involved, with the crossroads expected to remain closed while this is carried out.
Fortunately, it has been confirmed that there were no serious injuries reported as a result of the collision.
Drivers are urged to seek alternative routes and avoid the area where possible while recovery operations continue.
