The Worshipful the Mayor of Boston shares his latest update for the people of the Borough.

Cllr Pierpoint, who gave a commitment to the Borough to be a “Mayor of the People” when his civic year started last May, has so far attended 165 public engagements, visits or events (up to March 21 2026).

With a few more weeks to go until the end of his year, there is still time to secure a visit from the Mayor.

Cllr Pierpoint said: “It has been a very busy year so far and I have enjoyed every second. I’ve learnt so much more about the community of the Borough in the last 10 months than in the many years I’ve lived here. For that, I will always be grateful. It is a great privilege to be Mayor of this Borough.

“My civic year comes to an end on May 18, 2026. If you have not had a visit from me yet and would like me to come to your business, organisation, event or community group, please get in touch as soon as possible. Please contact alison.hull@boston.gov.uk for further details.”
