A Boston business is appealing for information after more than £1,000 worth of stock was stolen in broad daylight.

The incident took place at Turnbull’s Plumbing & Heating branch on Nelson Way, earlier today. Staff say two individuals entered the premises and left with a significant quantity of goods without payment.

The theft has been reported to Lincolnshire Police, with investigations now underway. A crime number is expected to be issued.

In a statement, the business urged the local community to come forward with any information that could help identify those responsible.

“Over £1,000 worth of stock has been taken from our Plumbing & Heating branch today. If you recognise either of the individuals involved, please get in touch or contact police directly,” a spokesperson said.

The branch has also asked residents and neighbouring businesses to remain vigilant, warning that sharing information could help prevent further incidents across the town.

Anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area, or who recognises the individuals, is asked to contact Lincolnshire Police on 101, or reach out directly to the branch by calling 01205 357400 and asking for the manager.

Local businesses are being reminded to review security measures and report any suspicious behaviour as efforts continue to tackle retail crime across Boston.
