Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the A52 near Wrangle.

Emergency services were called to the incident at around 5.50pm on Sunday 6 April, at the junction with Church End. The road was closed for several hours while crews responded and carried out initial investigations.

It has now been confirmed that the collision involved a green Fendt tractor and a Yamaha motorbike. Tragically, the rider of the motorbike, a 54-year-old local man, died as a result of the incident.

Specialist investigators are continuing their enquiries, and officers are now asking for anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have dashcam footage from the area around the time, to come forward.

The A52 has since reopened to traffic.
