Cllr Barrie Pierpoint said: “I would like to thank the Mayor’s Fundraising Committee for organising such a variety of events as we enter the final months to raise money for my five chosen causes.
“The generosity of local people, businesses and organisations in this Borough has been truly astounding and I thank you all for your continued support in ensuring we raise as much as we can for these charities that do so much to help local people.
“As well as fundraising, I have been extremely busy meeting people, attending events, getting to know as many community groups and organisations as well as the many different cultures that make up this Borough.
“If you haven’t had a visit from the Mayor yet and would like to before the end of my civic year on May 18th, please do get in touch. I am always happy to attend any organisation, event, visit a local cause, business or school. If you would like to book a visit, please contact Alison Hull, Civic and Member Services Officer, alison.hull@boston.gov.uk.”
