Both wholetime and retained crews from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue’s Boston Fire Station were called to reports of an outbuilding fire on Horncastle Road, Boston at 10:27 this morning.

On arrival, firefighters found a brick outbuilding well alight, with severe fire damage affecting part of the structure and its contents.

Crews worked quickly to bring the blaze under control, using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, and a thermal imaging camera to fully extinguish the fire and check for any remaining hotspots.

The incident was safely dealt with and the scene was made secure. No further details have been released at this stage.
