Lincolnshire Police were called to a vehicle fire on the A1121 this morning (12 December), outside Fountain Plants, between Hubberts Bridge and Swineshead Bridge.
The incident was reported at around 8.32am, with emergency services quickly arriving on scene. The road was initially closed while crews tackled the fire and made the area safe.
The A1121 has since reopened, but officers remain in attendance and are currently controlling traffic. Motorists should expect delays and are advised to approach with caution.
Drivers are also warned of further delays at Swineshead Bridge due to a lane closure caused by a collapsed manhole cover.
