Boston Borough Council is pleased to announce the return of the annual Christmas Window Competition for 2025.

This initiative invites local businesses and community organisations to showcase their creativity and festive spirit by designing engaging Christmas window displays that contribute to the seasonal atmosphere across the town.

The competition is open now to Monday 1 December 2025, during which time participants are encouraged to present their displays to the public.

Judging will be carried out by The Worshipful The Mayor of Boston at the start of December, with winners and runners-up in each category receiving a certificate in recognition of their contribution to the town’s festive celebrations.

There are four entry categories:

  • Local and/or Independent Retailer
  • Large and/or Chain Retailer
  • Eatery and/or Takeaway
  • Charity and/or Community Organisation or Retailer

Councillor Barrie Pierpoint, The Worshipful The Mayor of Boston, said: “The Christmas Window Competition is a fantastic opportunity to bring our community together and celebrate the season in a way that is both creative and inclusive.

“I’m very much looking forward to seeing the displays and recognising the efforts of our local businesses and organisations.

“I encourage all eligible organisations to take part in this year’s competition.”

To enter, participants must complete and submit the registration form by 12pm on Monday 1 December 2025.
