Motorists are being urged to avoid the B1391 this afternoon after the road was closed due to an ongoing incident.
The closure is in place between the A52 Abbey Lane at Swineshead and Fenhouses Drove, with traffic being diverted locally.
The incident is believed to be near to Masons Bros Haulage, close to the junction with Blackjack Road.
Emergency services are currently at the scene, although the nature of the incident has not yet been confirmed.
Drivers are advised to plan alternative routes and allow extra travel time while the closure remains in place.
