Following an incredible community response during the nomination stage, the Best of Boston Awards has announced a major next step: public voting is now officially open.
With 84 exceptional nominees shortlisted across a wide range of categories, organisers say the sheer volume and quality of entries made it clear that Boston is a town full of talent, heart, and innovation.
Voting is now live at bostonvibe.co.uk/awards, giving residents the opportunity to back their favourite people, projects, and businesses. Votes cost £2.50 each, a move designed to protect the integrity of the awards by ensuring a fair and transparent process.
“We’ve been truly blown away by the response to our inaugural Best of Boston awards,” said a spokesperson for Boston VIBE, the platform behind the event. “We knew Boston had incredible people doing amazing things, but the level of engagement has exceeded all expectations. Opening a public vote is our way of letting the people of Boston have their say, and ensure every winner truly represents the community’s voice.”
The Best of Boston Awards will culminate later this year in a prestigious black-tie finals evening, hosted by Brandon Pontin, where winners will be crowned in front of a packed audience. The evening promises to be a true celebration of Boston’s talent and community spirit, complete with a three-course meal, guest speaker, live entertainment, and much more. Finalists will be invited to attend, along with special guests and sponsors, for what promises to be one of the biggest nights in Boston’s calendar.
Each award category has been proudly sponsored by a local business or organisation, with headline partners including elected officials, national companies, and community champions:
