Lindum Group has officially been awarded the contract to deliver the next phase of work at the Crown House site, forming a key part of Boston’s wider Rosegarth Square regeneration project. This appointment marks another major step in Boston’s multi-million-pound Levelling Up-funded transformation.

The Rosegarth Square regeneration is a £14.8 million initiative secured through the Government’s Levelling Up Fund. Its focus is to rejuvenate a key section of the town centre by transforming derelict sites between the River Witham and the Len Medlock Centre. The project includes creating a modern public square, new walkways, landscaped green spaces, public art, seating areas, and community facilities—all designed to create a more welcoming, vibrant, and accessible gateway into Boston town centre. It also aims to improve safety, reduce anti-social behaviour, and encourage investment in the area.

As part of this, the Crown House redevelopment will see the construction of a brand-new, purpose-built building, featuring flexible commercial and retail space on the ground floor and two upper floors of high-quality residential apartments. The project is designed to boost both the local economy and housing provision, while also improving links to Boston’s bus and rail stations. Plans include features such as a Changing Places facility, new cycle storage, parking, and space for outdoor seating.

This latest contract follows Lindum’s earlier appointment to deliver the public realm works at Rosegarth Square, which began in May 2025 after the demolition of the former B&M building was completed in April. Those works are already transforming the look and feel of the area, with visible changes taking shape across the square.

Lindum Group, a proudly employee-owned construction company, is well-regarded for delivering high-quality developments across the East Midlands, Yorkshire, and East Anglia. The company places a strong emphasis on sustainable construction methods, community engagement, and ethical business practices. Their involvement in Rosegarth Square reflects a long-standing commitment to delivering projects that not only meet commercial needs but also leave a lasting positive legacy for local people and businesses.

Councillor Anne Dorrian, Leader of Boston Borough Council said: “The appointment of Lindum Group to lead the transformation of the former Crown House site within the wider Rosegarth Square project marks another exciting milestone for our town.

“Lindum’s proven track record, their commitment to sustainability and their people-first approach make them an ideal partner for this important project. Having already begun work on the Public Realm back in May, their continued involvement will ensure a consistent and high-quality vision for the area.

“This development is about more than bricks and mortar; it’s about revitalising our community, creating spaces that bring people together, and building a future that reflects the pride we have in Boston.”
