British Transport Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to following a serious incident onboard a train travelling from Skegness to Nottingham.

At approximately 4:40pm on Sunday 18 May, a train guard challenged a male passenger for using foul language. In response, the man allegedly pulled a grenade from his bag and removed the pin. Fortunately, the device did not detonate.

The man later claimed it was a joke but continued to behave in a threatening manner towards others onboard. He exited the train at Boston station.

Officers are now appealing to the public to help identify the man pictured, as they believe he may have vital information that could assist with their investigation.
