A serious multi-vehicle collision has led to the closure of Liquorpond Street in Boston this morning, with dramatic scenes showing a black VW Polo overturned and resting on its roof in the middle of the road.
Emergency services rushed to the scene shortly after the incident, which has caused major disruption to traffic in and around the town centre.
As a result, Spalding Road has been closed off from the ATS roundabout, with no access for vehicles travelling toward McDonald’s from John Adams Way. Motorists are being urged to avoid the area and find alternative routes where possible.
Lincolnshire Police have been approached for a comment regarding the incident, and it is currently unknown if there have been any serious injuries.
Adding to the traffic chaos, High Street remains closed between Nelson Way and John Adams Way due to ongoing emergency roadworks, causing further delays and confusion for drivers navigating through town.
More updates will follow as information becomes available.
