Motorists are being advised to avoid the A52 near Haltoft End following a serious road traffic collision involving a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) and two cars.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:15pm this afternoon (Monday), prompting an emergency response. Lincolnshire Police are currently at the scene and have confirmed the A52 is closed in both directions while the situation is being managed.
Details about any injuries have not yet been released, but the road closure is causing significant delays in the area, with traffic being diverted through nearby villages.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “We are currently in attendance at a collision involving a HGV and two cars on the A52 at Haltoft End. The road is closed in both directions and we are asking motorists to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible.”
