A burst water main has caused major disruption to water supplies in parts of Boston, with several streets currently experiencing either very low pressure or no water at all.
The incident is affecting homes and businesses in a large area, with the following roads impacted:
- Sleaford Road (between Carlton Road roundabout and Wyberton Chain Bridge)
- Carlton Road (between Sleaford Road and Fydell Street)
- Granville Street
- Sydney Street
- Brothertoft Road
- Woodville Road
- Revesby Avenue
- Peck Avenue
- Staniland Road
- Broadfield Lane
- Hessle Drive
- Roseberry Avenue
- South Parade
- Welland Road
- Chain Bridge Road
- Wyberton West Road
- Westbridge Road
- Plus surrounding streets.
Emergency repair work is underway, and engineers are aiming to restore full service by 3:00pm on Monday, 2nd June 2025.
A spokesperson for the water company said:
“We’re really sorry for the disruption. Our teams are working as quickly and safely as possible to fix the issue. We’ll keep customers updated if anything changes.”
