High Street is closed between Oxford Street and Nelson Way due to an ongoing emergency incident.

20.14 - Statement

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police has added to their earlier statement and said: “We believe this to be an isolated incident, which happened unintentionally. The area immediately outside the property remains closed off to members of the public but surrounding roads have been reopened. Structural engineers will be attending to assess the property.

Photos taken from outside the safety cordon of the scene show a house on Pulvertoft Lane with smoke covered windows, charring to the uPVC outer and smoke marks on the stonework above the window.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police has said: “We are currently at the scene of an explosion at Pulvertoft Lane in Boston. This is an isolated incident. Officers are working alongside other emergency services, and we will provide more information when we can. Inc286 of 02/05/25.”
