The A16 Spalding Road is closed in both directions between Kirton roundabout and Sutterton Roundabout following a 2 vehicle collision.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “The A16 is closed following a serious collision between Algakirk and Sutterton Dowdyke, close to Church Lane. This involved a van and a lorry, and was reported at 12.55pm today (Sunday, 20 April). We are on scene and expect to be there until at least the early hours while we carry out initial investigations, please avoid the area. This is incident 190 of today.”
Reports suggest that the Air Ambulance had been in attendance near the location, however it’s unclear if it was connected with this collision.
