A large fire in a block of flats has seen a large response from emergency services.
7 fire engines and an aerial ladder platform, multiple units from Lincolnshire Police, ambulances and first responders converged on Shaw Road earlier this morning to reports of a fire in a block of flats.
Fenside Road and Shaw Road remain closed whilst the incident is dealt with.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said: “Crews from Boston, Kirton, Leverton, Spilsby, Donington and Grantham attended a fire at a residential address on Shaw Road, and an ariel ladder platform from Boston also attended.
One appliance remains on scene, with the fire still ongoing. Fire investigators have arrived, no known cause as of yet.
Police have closed off the road and walkways to seal off the area to cars and pedestrians.”
