Pescod Square Shopping Centre has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the local community by donating funds raised from its 2024 Santa’s Grotto to three exceptional charities. Earlier today, Customer Service Manager, Michelle McCoy and Councillor Patsie Marson proudly handed over the funds to Curo-Lincs, Lincs Ark Cat, Kitten and Rabbit Rescue, and Jerry Green Dog Rescue.

The much-loved Santa’s Grotto, a highlight of the festive season at Pescod Square, raised vital funds for these organisations thanks to the generosity of visitors, the efforts of dedicated volunteers, and the support of Metsä Wood, whose contributions helped make the event possible.

Lisa Fitzgerald, Centre Manager, said: “We are so proud of the community spirit that surrounds Santa’s Grotto every year. It’s heartwarming to know the funds raised will make such a positive difference for Curo-Lincs, Lincs Ark, and Jerry Green Dog Rescue. I’d like to thank our amazing volunteers, Metsä Wood, and everyone who visited the grotto and contributed to its success. Together, we’ve created something truly special.”

The donation day was made even more memorable with appearances from some of the animals supported by the charities, who brought plenty of strokes, cuddles, licks, and kisses to everyone involved.

Pescod Square Shopping Centre looks forward to continuing its tradition of giving back to the community and would like to thank everyone who helped make the 2024 Santa’s Grotto such a success.
