A water main has burst on a busy Boston road.

The water main, located below the footpath has erupted on Skirbeck Road, with water visibly pushing through the pavement and Openreach networking hub in the footpath.

Anglian Water have been notified of the burst, and have said that an engineer will be in attendance within 6 hours.

This latest water main burst is likely to cause further disruption on Skirbeck Road, which currently has temporary traffic lights a matter of meters further down the road outside Scott House, due to emergency electrical works by National Grid.
