As we close the chapter on 2024, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude and pride for everything we’ve accomplished this year at Imp & Maker. This has truly been a landmark year for us, filled with growth, innovation, and new opportunities that have helped solidify our place as a leader in luxury food and drink gifting.

One of the most exciting milestones this year was our move into a state-of-the-art facility. This space has transformed the way we work, allowing us to operate more efficiently while maintaining the exceptional quality and attention to detail that our customers expect. But more than that, it’s given us the capacity to support our incredible team, who work tirelessly to deliver beautiful, modern hampers designed to create unforgettable moments. Every single person at Imp & Maker has contributed to this success, and I am so proud of what we’ve achieved together.

This year’s Christmas season has been our busiest yet, and I think that speaks to how much our customers value the care and creativity we put into our hampers. Our focus has always been on creating gifts that people can enjoy immediately — something that brings joy and celebration to life’s most special moments, rather than being tucked away in a cupboard for later. It’s a philosophy that has resonated deeply with so many people, and it’s been wonderful to see that reflected in the number of customers choosing Imp & Maker this holiday season.

Another incredible highlight of 2024 has been securing £200,000 in funding from Midlands Engine and First Enterprise. This support has been transformational, allowing us to further invest in our facilities, grow our team, and expand our offering. Their belief in our vision and recognition of the value we bring to the market has been truly humbling, and we are excited to continue building on this foundation in the coming year.

One of the standout moments of 2024 was our partnership with the hugely popular Hawkstone brand, owned by Jeremy Clarkson. Together, we launched the Premium Hawkstone Cider & Cheese Board Gift Hamper, and the response has been nothing short of incredible. This collaboration has been a dream come true—it combines our passion for showcasing the finest artisan products with Hawkstone’s iconic appeal. Partnerships like these, along with our growing network of independent “Makers,” are what make Imp & Maker so special. Supporting small businesses and collaborating with artisans to bring their talents to a wider audience is something I care about deeply. This year, we’ve worked with more “Makers” than ever before, and I’m so proud to be part of their journeys.

2024 has also brought us recognition from some of the biggest names in publishing, including Good Housekeeping, Elle, Daily Mail, GQ, and Harper’s Bazaar. Seeing Imp & Maker featured in these prestigious publications is a humbling reminder of how far we’ve come. It’s also a reflection of the trust and love that our customers have shown us over the years. Their continued support is what drives us to innovate and push boundaries.

At the heart of Imp & Maker is a simple but powerful mission: to help people celebrate and savour life’s special moments.
