Traffic is struggling following a third burst water main in 7 days.
Queen Street is closed between the roundabouts on West Street and Liqourpond Street to traffic heading northbound toward John Adams Way following a burst water main reported this morning.
All traffic travelling along Sleaford Road is being diverted along West Street and South Street to the Haven Bridge traffic lights before joining John Adams Way.
Significant delays are expected throughout the remainder of the day.
A spokesperson for Brylaine Travel said: “Due to a burst water main, we cannot turn left at the Eagle pub at the bottom of West Street in Boston, and delays are to be expected. Thank you for your patience”
Anglian Water are on scene but couldn’t give a timescale for completion or road reopening.
