Plans have been submitted to Boston Borough Council for the construction of 122 new homes in a nearby village.
D & R Homes (Swineshead) Ltd have submitted the application for the development of the estate off Station Road, Swineshead opposite the junction of Boston Road / North End in the popular village, nearby to the Village Hall.
The proposed development will comprise of 10 x 2 bedroom Semi detached bungalows; 9 x 2 bedroom detached bungalows with garages; 33 x 3 bedroom semi detached houses with garages; 24 x 3 bedroom detached houses; 18 x detached 4 bedroom houses, 7 of which will include double garages; 14 x 2 bedroom semi detached houses; 4 x private quarter 1 bedroom house, and 3 x 2 bed mid and end terrace houses.
The development will be accessed via a single point on to Station Road and the layout is served by both adopted and unadopted roads to create an interesting and varied layout. Dwellings are set as focal points throughout the site and a single area of useable Public Open Space, which includes an equipped area of play, will be located at the front of the site to create a pleasing entrance into the development.
