A closure on a busy Boston road caused delays for drivers this morning following an RTC reported to Lincolnshire Police last night.
Reports were made to the force at 9.48pm yesterday that a single vehicle had been involved in a collision and had overturned.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “We were called to a report of a collision involving two vehicles at 9.54pm last night (Thursday 10 October) on Fishtoft Road, Boston. A car ended on its roof, and the road was closed while the vehicle was recovered.
There were minor injuries reported. The collision also caused damage to an Openreach telephone pole and the road was closed by Highways so that the pole could be repaired. The road closure was still in place this morning.”
Lincolnshire County Council’s Highways team kept the road closed until around lunchtime until Openreach had attended the site to assess the damage sustained to the telegraph pole.
