Boston in Bloom are thrilled to announce that they have been awarded a prestigious Silver Gilt in the East Midlands in Bloom competition! This fantastic achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of the entire Boston in Bloom team, who care for 15 areas across central Boston, bringing beauty and pride to our community.

Volunteers, who tend to planters around the town, meet weekly (weather permitting) to ensure Boston remains a welcoming and vibrant place. From well-tended flowerbeds to creative planting schemes, the team’s efforts have been widely recognised by the competition judges.

A special congratulations goes out to the dedicated allotmenteers at Willoughby Road Allotments, who received the Judges Award for their impressive contributions to the community’s green spaces. This award is a testament to the hard work and passion of those involved in nurturing this important part of Boston’s horticultural scene.

Alison Fairman, Chair of the Boston in Bloom Partnership, commented: “We are absolutely delighted with this year’s Silver Gilt award, which truly reflects the commitment and passion of our volunteers. It’s a real team effort, and I’d like to thank everyone who has worked so hard to make Boston look so wonderful. Special congratulations go to the Willoughby Road Allotments team for their well-deserved Judges Award. Their hard work and dedication are inspiring, and it’s a joy to see how their efforts have transformed the area. We look forward to continuing our work and striving for even greater success next year.”
