Several emergency service vehicles were seen parked on a Boston industrial estate last night.
Officers from Lincolnshire Police, an ambulance from East Midlands Ambulance Service, 2 fire engines, the Technical Response Vehicle and a fire officer from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue were seen parked on the corner of Redstone Industrial Estate and A16 Spalding Road around 11.30pm last night.
A drone, operated by Lincolnshire Police was also seen airborne with its torch flying along the Black Sluice Drain
A spokesperson from Lincolnshire Police said: “We received several reports of concern for welfare of a person in John Adams Way in Boston at around 9.45pm last night (Friday, 20 September). Officers were deployed and conducted searches of the surrounding area using both patrol vehicles, foot, and the police drone, and we also asked for assistance from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue to help search less accessible areas. There was no trace of the person, and nothing in our records to indicate that there is an ongoing concern for welfare which this may have been related to, but as a precaution we continue to check CCTV footage to understand which direction they may have gone in and carry out further searches today. This related to incident 499 of 20 September.”
