Organisers of Boston Bike Night have confirmed they are in the final stages of planning for the popular event’s return in 2026, while also launching an appeal for community support to help cover rising costs.

The much-loved event, which attracts thousands of visitors and hundreds of motorcycles to Boston town centre each year, is expected to return in July 2026, subject to final planning discussions.

Organisers say they are currently working through the final elements of the event plan and will be meeting with key stakeholders towards the end of March to confirm arrangements.

Boston Bike Night has grown significantly since it first began and is now widely recognised as one of the largest motorcycle events in the region.

A spokesperson for the event said: “Boston Bike Night has become one of the biggest and most loved community events in Lincolnshire, bringing thousands of people together each year to celebrate motorcycles, local businesses, and the incredible community spirit that makes Boston so special.

Every summer, the town centre fills with hundreds of bikes and thousands of visitors who come to enjoy an unforgettable evening of engines, entertainment and great atmosphere. The event has grown into one of the largest static motorcycle meets in the East Midlands – and we are incredibly proud of what it has become.”

However, organisers say delivering an event of this scale comes with significant costs that continue to rise year after year.

“Putting on an event of this scale is no small task,” the spokesperson added. “Each year, the operational costs required to safely deliver Boston Bike Night continue to increase. Essential elements such as road closures, traffic management, security teams, medical provision, safety infrastructure, insurance and event management all come with significant costs.”

While organisers work to secure sponsorship and support from local businesses, they say increasing operational costs mean additional funding is needed to help ensure the event can continue.

“While we work hard to secure sponsorship and support from local businesses, the reality is that rising costs make it increasingly challenging to ensure the event can continue to take place each year.

That’s why this year we’re asking for your help. If Boston Bike Night means something to you, whether you’re a biker, a visitor, a supporter of local events, or someone who simply enjoys seeing our town centre buzzing with life, please consider making a donation to help us keep this event going.”

Organisers say every contribution, regardless of size, will go directly towards covering the operational costs required to safely deliver the event.

“With your support, we can make sure the engines keep roaring and Boston Bike Night remains a highlight of the town’s calendar for many years to come.”

Further updates about Boston Bike Night 2026 are expected after meetings with stakeholders later this month. Residents who would like to support the event are being encouraged to donate via the organisers’ fundraising page by visiting https://www.gofundme.com/f/boston-bike-night
