A man has been airlifted to Hull Royal Infirmary following a reported assault in Boston on Saturday evening.
Emergency services were called to the incident shortly after 8pm, with an air ambulance landing in Central Park around 9pm and a male casualty being taken from the scene for further treatment.
Lincolnshire Police have now confirmed that the incident relates to a report of an assault at a property on Tunnard Street.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the force said: “We were called at 8.15pm to a report of an assault at a property on Tunnard Street in Boston. A man was taken to hospital with injuries now believed to be minor. A woman in her 40s has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent and remains in custody. Inquiries are ongoing. Incident 399 of 14 February relates”
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident have not yet been disclosed.
