Lincolnshire Police are appealing for information following a vehicle break-in near Witham Way Country Park in Boston.
The incident took place at around 2.45pm on Sunday 25th January 2026, close to Tattershall Road, when a black Ford was targeted by thieves. Officers say a handbag and a number of personal belongings were stolen from inside the vehicle.
Enquiries are now underway to establish who was responsible, and police are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time and noticed anything unusual or suspicious.
Detectives are particularly interested in speaking with:
• Anyone who witnessed the break-in or saw people acting suspiciously in or around parked vehicles
• Motorists or cyclists who were travelling along Tattershall Road or near Witham Way Country Park at around 2.45pm and may have relevant dashcam footage
• Residents or visitors who may have CCTV or doorbell footage covering the area
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “If you were in the area at the time and saw anything that didn’t look right, or if you have dashcam or CCTV footage which could help our investigation, we would urge you to get in touch.”

Police are also reminding motorists to avoid leaving handbags, wallets, mobile phones or other valuables in vehicles, even for short periods of time, and to ensure cars are locked and alarmed when unattended.
